Williams-Sonoma Takes 37,000 Sq. Ft. at Brooklyn’s Industry City

NEW YORK—Williams-Sonoma has signed a 37,000-sq.-ft. lease at Industry City, a 40-acre industrial center of Bush Terminal in Brooklyn.

In a relocation move, Williams-Sonoma will use its space along Brooklyn’s Sunset Park waterfront as a manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facility.

Industry City at Bush Terminal is a manufacturing, office and retail complex built in the early 1900s. Comprised of 16 buildings, the site offers access to public transportation and parking.

“There were numerous selling points that made Industry City attractive to Williams-Sonoma, including the abundant natural daylight, open floor layout with highly flexible space, in addition to the ease of access to main transportation routes and abundant parking,” said Bruce Federman, director of real estate at Industry City Associates. “The company sees growth potential here and, for our part, having a marquis tenant on the roster is a step toward creating a dynamic environment.”
