Champion Partners to develop build-to-suit for Nissan

IRVING, Texas — Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. (NMAC), the financial subsidiary of Gardena, Calif.-based Nissan North America Inc., has leased a 268,000 sq. ft. customer service center in Irving, Texas. The center will be developed by Addison, Texas-based Champion Partners Ltd. Located at the southeast corner of Freeport Parkway and Regent Boulevard, the 3-story, build-to-suit center will be situated on a 14.8-acre site adjacent to Nissan’s south central regional office and training facility, as well as its Dallas Parts Distribution Center. The building will include a fitness center, cafeteria and childcare facility.

Frank D. Ricca, senior vice president of the southwest corporate service office at The Staubach Co., Dallas, represented Nissan in the deal. Wells Operating Partnership LP is the landlord for the new development. Construction is planned to begin in January 2002, with occupancy planned for February 2003.
