WILLIAM SCIORTINO has been named senior vice president of operations for Classic Residence by Hyatt, the senior living affiliate of Chicago-based Hyatt Corp. In his new role, Sciortino will oversee all aspects of operations and resident services at the firm's 17 operating communities. Most recently, Sciortino served as chief information officer for Classic Residence by Hyatt, where he implemented company-wide technology applications. Prior to joining Classic Residence, he served as chief information officer for Ecker Enterprises Inc.

PETER GARVER has been hired as director of development services for Columbia, Md.-based Corporate Office Properties Trust, working directly for the company's development subsidiary Corporate Development Services LLC. In his new role, Garver will assist in the design and development of new office buildings in the mid-Atlantic region, with a focus on the Baltimore/Washington corridor and the northern Virginia marketplace. He also will identify land development opportunities in the region.

TOBY GROVE has been promoted to president of Dallas-based Koll Development Co. A 10-year employee of Kook, Grove formerly served as division president. In his new role, Grove will coordinate all operational aspects of development, including acquisitions, project financing, financial analysis, and the leasing and sale of development projects.

DAVID DEEDS has been named senior vice president of finance and CFO of Skokie, Ill.-based Parkside Senior Services LLC. In this position, Deeds will be responsible for the overall financial operation of Parkside and its communities. Previously, Deeds served as CFO of Senior Lifestyle Corp. in Chicago, and director of internal and external financial reporting for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp.

TED JADWIN has been appointed senior vice president and general counsel for Chicago-based Trizec Properties. He will be responsible for corporate governance and legal matters, and will direct outside counsel. Previously, Jadwin was employed by the Chicago law firm of D'Ancona & Pflaum LLC as an equity member.

JIM GOING and KEN BENKESER have been named executive managing directors for MortgageRamp. Going formerly was a senior director for Atlanta-based MortgageRamp, focusing on client and product development and project management. He previously was a senior director for Univest Financial Services. Benkeser was managing director for technology sales for MortgageRamp. He previously worked as the director of sales and marketing for Keane and Inc.

JAMES JASIONOWSKI has been named international director of Jones Lang LaSalle. The position recognizes senior managers who have shown outstanding achievement within their business areas. Jasionowski currently serves as the firm's global director of tax, with responsibility for the firm's worldwide tax strategy and tax management.
