MARK OHRINGER has been named global general counsel for Jones Lang LaSalle. He will be responsible for corporate legal and compliance matters for the firm, and will serve as corporate secretary and chief ethics officer. Ohringer has served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Kemper Insurance Group Inc., and general counsel and corporate secretary at Heller Financial Inc.

JOHN ORRICO has joined National Realty & Development Corp. as managing director of retail leasing. Orrico will be responsible for the company's portfolio of 80 shopping centers, which total more than 13 million sq. ft. He also will oversee the marketing of the portfolio and new developments. Most recently, Orrico was president of Wilkrys Group LLC.

JOHN MEIGHAN has been appointed director of environmental services for EMG. He will oversee the company's national environmental services division and subdivisions, which are responsible for identifying and evaluating environmental conditions that may result in liability for commercial property owners or lenders. Most recently, Meighan worked as a consultant for EMG and several software companies.

PHILLIP NICKOLENKO has joined Midland Loan Services as vice president of risk management. In his role, Nickolenko will evaluate Midland's business procedures for compliance with industry standards and enhancing the company's internal risk management processes. Previously, Nickolenko served as a commercial mortgage servicing technology consultant and financial audits manager for Price-WaterhouseCoopers.
