JOHN CUNNINGHAM has been appointed managing director of acquisitions for Alliance Residential. Prior to joining Alliance Residential, Cunningham served as vice president of Camden Property Trust.

WALLY REID has been appointed senior director in the national debt placement group of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler. Reid, who will work out of the firm's Houston office, is returning to Holliday Fenoglio Fowler after working for five years at L.J. Melody & Co.

GREG VAN SCHAACK has been promoted to senior vice president of Hines' Midwest regional office. Van Schaack, a member of the project development team since 1998, currently is leading the development team for One South Dearborn, a 40-story tower in Chicago that is currently under construction.

MIKE BONTRAGER has been named president of the Southwest business unit of Weitz Co. Previously, he was vice president/construction manager of Weitz's Southwest business unit.

ROBERT BEHRENS, president of Re/Max Commercial of Denver, has been elected 2004 national president for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute. The 16,000-member Institute confers the CCIM designation.

SALLY ELLIOTT has joined PM Realty Group as senior vice president of the Eastern division. In her new role, Elliott will direct property management, construction management and engineering in Atlanta, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. Elliott is the former president and owner of Elliott Consulting Services Inc.
