JAMES ROSENFIELD has been named senior managing director and head of Cushman & Wakefield's national retail practice. Rosenfield was president and founder of J.S. Rosenfield & Co. He will be based in Los Angeles and New York City. In addition, Daniel Bercu, also of J.S. Rosenfield, has joined as director of Cushman & Wakefield retail services on the West Coast. He will be based in Los Angeles.

JOHN WICKSER has been appointed managing director of Watt Realty Advisors, a new position created to support the firm's new real estate advisory business and private retail REIT. Wickser will be responsible for identifying retail assets for acquisition, as well as opportunities in other commercial real estate sectors. He formerly was employed as managing principal and head of the West Coast office of ING Realty Partners.

RICHARD CAVENAUGH has joined office and apartment development firm Fifield Cos. as executive vice president, principal and COO. Cavenaugh also has served as president of Whiteco Residential LLC and president of Ambassador Apartments REIT.

EDWARD TELLINGS has joined Red Mortgage Capital Inc., a division of Red Capital Group, as chief FHA underwriter. He will manage the firm's underwriting of multifamily and seniors healthcare loans under the FHA insurance programs. Tellings formerly was director of operations and chief multifamily underwriter for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the state of Ohio.

MICHAEL TRENERY has been named vice president of development for Black Oak Associates. He will be responsible for acquiring, developing and leasing the company's shopping centers.
