SL Green Promotes Marc Holliday to CEO
Office REIT SL Green Realty, which owns more than 15 million sq. ft. of office space in Midtown Manhattan, has promoted its president to the role of CEO. Marc Holliday will replace Stephen L. Green — the 65-year-old founder of the company. Green will continue as an active chairman.
Holliday, 37, joined SL Green in 1998, becoming president in April 2001. Before joining SL Green, Holliday was a managing director of Capital Trust.
Last month, SL Green bought a 45% ownership stake in 1221 Avenue of the Americas. The REIT paid McGraw-Hill Cos. $450 million for the stake.
