S.R. Weiner

Brian Sciera, former director of Gap Inc.'s Northeast real estate office, is the newest member of the Chestnut Hill, Mass.-based S.R. Weiner & Associates team. Sciera will assist in the development and leasing of new projects that are part of the company's aggressive growth plan. During Sciera's tenure, Gap embarked on the most ambitious expansion plan in its history. Sciera also has 12 years experience as a development and leasing associate with Syracuse, N.Y.-based The Pyramid Cos.

Konover Property Trust

Raleigh, N.C.-based Konover Property Trust recently named four new board members: Carol Goldberg, Glenn Orr, Philip Schonberger and Robert Ross. Goldberg is president of Boston-based consulting firm The AVCAR Group, and served as CEO for the Bradlee's division of The Stop & Shop Cos. Inc. of Quincy, Mass.

Orr is the senior managing director of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based investment bankers The Orr Group. Schonberger, formerly chairman and majority shareholder at Chicago-based Landau & Heyman, currently serves as managing member of Hartford, Conn.-based Albermarle Equities LLC.

Ross vice president of finance at New York-based Lazard Frères Real Estate Investors LLC will serve as Prometheus Southeast Retail designee. These new board members replace former directors J. Richard Futrell Jr., John Gildea, C. Cammack Morton and Patrick Miniutti.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates

Stephen Yalof, a former senior director of real estate at Gap Inc., is the new president and principal at New York-based Robert K. Futterman & Associates (RKF). Yalof is responsible for all day-to-day operations at RKF, including guiding growth, expanding tenant representation and building brand recognition. Prior to joining Gap, Yalof served as a vice president for New Plan Realty Trust of New York.

Madison Marquette

Minneapolis-based Madison Marquette has a new senior vice president for its leasing operations Stephen Wehr. Wehr, a former partner and vice president with Terranomics Retail Services, will direct the leasing of the Madison Marquette retail portfolio in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Wehr's career highlights include the leasing and acquisition of several million sq. ft. of GLA and the disposition of projects in excess of $400 million.

Legg Mason

Craig Butchenhart is the new president of Philadelphia-based Legg Mason Real Estate Services' mortgage banking and investment services group. Butchenhart's responsibilities include the management and administration of national production and business development for insurance company, GSE and conduit debt and equity financing, equity investment sales, corporate services, real estate and sports consulting, investor relations and production risk compliance.

Legg Mason also has a new president of its investment advisory group Douglas Callantine. Callentine will manage the company's real estate debt and equity investment, portfolio asset management and asset disposition services.

W.C. & A.N. Miller Cos.

Washington-based W.C. & A.N. Miller Cos. recently promoted James E. Ferrell to vice president for commercial leasing and management. The company is taking its commercial leasing in-house, and Ferrell will spearhead the efforts. He previously served as director of property management for the full-service real estate firm.

RTKL

Harold Adams, chairman of Baltimore-based RTKL Associates Inc. and RTKL International Ltd., is the new chairman of the board of regents of the Washington-based American Architectural Foundation (AAF). The AAF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people understand the importance of architecture in their lives. Adams joined RTKL in 1967 and became president in 1969, CEO in 1971 and chairman in 1987.
