May Co. to increase accessibility

St. Louis - After settling a lawsuit on behalf of the Americans with Disabilities Act, locally based May Department Stores Co. agreed to renovate its entire store base to give more accessibility to disabled shoppers.

ome of the renovations at the 430 stores include lowering the height of showcase tables to 3 ft. and widening aisles to restrooms and fitting rooms.
