PHOENIX — Discount Tire Co. has selected Opus West Corp. to develop its corporate headquarters campus in Scottsdale, Ariz. Located in the Grayhawk master-planned community, Discount Tire’s campus will consist of a 150,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit on 5.8 acres that Opus West recently acquired.
Phoenix-based Opus West plans to start construction in August, with completion slated for October 2002. Phoenix-based Butler Design Group is designing the headquarters building. Discount Tire also has purchased an additional 10 acres at Grayhawk for a building between 100,000 and 150,000 sq. ft.
