ProLogis Announces French Development

Industrial REIT ProLogis will build 1.9 million sq. ft. of distribution center space near Charles De Gaulle Airport outside Paris. The entire project is expected to cost roughly $100 million (U.S.) with construction on the first three buildings expected to begin early next year. The finished complex will feature five separate buildings.

“This site will offer important strategic advantages both for ProLogis and our growing base of customers in northern France,” says Ranald Hahn, ProLogis’ managing director for southern Europe.

Adds Hahn: “The area around Charles de Gaulle Airport is currently experiencing significant public investment, with construction of a new mega terminal under way and a light-rail system and science park planned for the future. ProLogis already operates a large industrial distribution complex with 3.8 million sq. ft. in a nearby suburb
