Citadel Investment Group signs 206,146 sq. ft. lease at future Chicago skyscraper

CHICAGO — Citadel Investment Group has signed a 10-year, nine-month, 206,146 sq. ft. lease at Dearborn Center, a 37-story, $355 million office building that is presently under construction in downtown Chicago. Dearborn Center is a development of Chicago-based Prime/Beitler Development Co., and is slated for completion in fourth-quarter 2002. The lease is expected to commence on Jan. 1, 2003.

Citadel will occupy the top six floors of the office tower. The transaction brings the total space leased at Dearborn Center to 63%. Dearborn Center has agreed to reimburse Citadel for its financial obligations under its existing 161,488 sq. ft. lease at One North Wacker Drive in Chicago.
