NASHVILLE – Chicago-based First Industrial Development Services will develop a 403,750 sq. ft. speculative distribution facility in the Nashville suburb of Lebanon, Tenn. Construction of the building, which will be located in the Eastgate Distribution Facility, will begin this month. Completion is slated for October 2001. St. Louis-based ARCO Construction Co. is the general contractor. The facility is First Industrial’s second distribution center in Eastgate.
The distribution center will include 30-foot clear-height ceilings and benefits such as a sprinkler system and a 160-foot truck court. Office space will be available for build-to-suit leasers. Eastgate Distribution Facility is located at 7950 Eastgate Blvd. at Interstate 40 and Highway 109, only 15 miles east of Nashville International Airport.
