Foulger-Pratt undertakes metro D.C. office building

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rockville, Md.-based Foulger-Pratt Cos. Inc. has begun construction of the first phase of the Rockville Metro Plaza development. When finished, the plaza will feature a total of 620,000 sq. ft. of office space and 24,000 sq. ft. of retail space. The first phase of the project is an 11-story, 223,000 sq. ft. office building that will include 3,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Completion of the building is slated for June 2002.

The building’s façade will feature vertical limestone and finished precast concrete. The lobby will contain wood, granite, marble and stainless steel finishes.
