ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Baltimore, Md.-based MIE Properties Inc. has begun construction on a $70 million, 21-building project that will consist of 923,500 sq. ft. of office, flex and retail space upon completion. MIE Properties is developing three projects in Anne Arundel County.
The 135,000 sq. ft. 888 Bestgate Road will be a four-story, Class-A office building with surface parking and concierge service. Annapolis Technology Park will include two flex office buildings totaling more than 70,000 sq. ft. of space, an 88,500 sq. ft., three-story office building and a 30,000 sq. ft. retail center. The 97-acre BWI Technology Park will include 14 flex office buildings and 600,000 sq. ft. of space upon completion. Construction completion is dependent upon the leasing pace of the projects.
