Morgan Stanley completes largest transaction ever by a U.S. finance company

NEW YORK – Morgan Stanley has completed the sale of a $6 billion, two-part Global Bond offering, which represents the largest bond transaction ever completed by a U.S. financial services company.

The dual-tranche sale includes a $3.5 billion, five-year Global Bond priced at 147 basis points over the five-year treasury to yield 6.12%, and a $2.5 billion, 10-year Global Bond priced at 170 basis points over the 10-year treasury to yield 6.82%.
