Sang Oak Ra has joined Weichert Commercial Brokerage in Morris Plains, N.J. as senior vice president. Previously, Ra was a licensed broker with Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.-based SBWE for 19 years. He has sold and leased more than 2 million sq. ft. of properties and represented developers and owners, including AMB Property Corp.
Rick Chess has been named president of the Real Estate Investment Securities Association (REISA) based in Indianapolis. Chess is the managing partner of Chess Law Firm. He has worked for Triple Net Properties, Hirschler Fleischer and United Dominion Realty Trust.
James Stolpestad has joined Allianz Real Estate as CEO of Allianz Real Estate America. Previously, Stolpestad served as managing director for GE Real Estate in its Norwalk, Conn. headquarters, where he was responsible for managing office, retail, multi-family and hotel assets.
Christine Schultz has joined Colliers International as marketing director of the U.S., based in Seattle. Schultz will be responsible for developing the company's marketing and communication strategy. Previously, Schultz served as national marketing director for Cushman & Wakefield.
