Opus West busy erecting suburban L.A. office building

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Phoenix-based Opus West Corp. has begun construction of Grand Avenue Corporate Center, a Class-A, four-story mid-rise office building. Completion of the 126,000 sq. ft. building is slated for third-quarter 2001. Nadel Partners designed the building, and Opus West Construction Corp. is the general contractor. Colliers Steely will oversee the marketing and leasing for the building.

The property will feature full-curtain precast concrete walls, floor-to-ceiling glass-walled offices and 35,000 sq. ft. floor plates. The building is located near interstates 105 and 405, Los Angeles International Airport and two Los Angeles County light rail stations.
