A renaissance in Charleston, S.C.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — A city known for its historic buildings now has a new hotel designed to fit in with the 18th and 19th century architecture. The 166-room, 6-story Renaissance Charleston Hotel located at 68 Wentworth St., features terraces, gas lanterns, gardens, an entry court, antique furniture and marble floors.

The hotel also offers 2,800 sq. ft. of conference space, a heated outdoor pool, a full-service brasserie and a wood-paneled lounge. Developed by Atlanta-based Hardin Capital LLC, The hotel will be managed by Marriott International. Regions Bank provided construction financing.
