TrizecHahn Corp. acquires three Class-A properties for $180 million

TORONTO — TrizecHahn Corp. has purchased three Class-A properties totaling 818,000 sq. ft. — Two Ballston Plaza in Arlington, Va.: 550 West Washington in Chicago; and 1225 Connecticut Avenue in Washington, D.C. Toronto-based TrizecHahn purchased the properties, which are 95% occupied, for $180 million.

The 11-story, 222,000 sq. ft. Two Ballston Plaza was purchased for $44 million. The property is 97% occupied, and is located in a sub-market of Washington, D.C.

The 95% occupied 550 West Washington property was purchased for $ 77 million. The 16-story, 372,000 sq. ft. building is located in a sub-market of Chicago’s Central Business District.

The 8-story, 224,000 sq. ft. 1225 Connective Avenue property was purchased for $59 million. The building is completely occupied by Ernst & Young.
