PRESS RELEASE: 15-Year Veteran Carlos Serra to Lead Jones Lang LaSalle's Project & Development Team in the Southwest

LOS ANGELES– 15-year commercial real estate veteran Carlos Serra has joined Jones Lang LaSalle to oversee the firm's Project & Development Services division in the Southwest region which includes Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.  Serra, a Regional Director with the company, will provide business development, strategic sourcing, regional growth and talent development for a team of over 70 project and development management professionals.  He is also charged with creating and implementing the group’s vision and strategy.

Serra replaces Judy Caruthers, Executive Vice President, who will lead Jones Lang LaSalle’s Occupancy Planning and Strategy practice for the West region. She will work with clients to improve their space utilization and provide efficient workplace solutions.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Serra served as Director and Regional Manager for Davis Langdon, an AECOM company, where he played an integral role in the firm's national expansion.  Prior to Davis Langdon, Serra was a Director at the Altus Group where he led a project and cost management team.

Serra is a graduate of the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, United Kingdom, where he received a honors degree in Quantity Surveying.
