SACRAMENTO – The American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACEC California) has named Assemblywoman Connie Conway as their “2013 Legislator of the Year.”

“ACEC California is impressed with Assemblywoman Conway’s strong understanding of the many issues facing engineering and surveying businesses in California today,” said ACEC California president Bill Wagner. “We really appreciate her willingness to publicly articulate the importance of improving California’s business climate and infrastructure delivery.”

During her tenure in the legislature, Assemblywoman Conway has been a strong supporter of legislation to improve California’s business climate and discourage frivolous legal roadblocks to needed infrastructure projects.

ACEC California will present Assemblywoman Conway with an award at a luncheon to be held during the association’s Legislative Visit Day on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Sacramento.
