DALLAS, TX – Will Hodges, President of Cadence McShane Construction Company, is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected by PinPoint Commercial, L.P. and Thrive Senior Living to complete the comprehensive construction of Legacy at Crystal Falls, the joint venture’s new luxury senior living development. Occupying a 5.1 acre site on the northwest corner of Lakeline Boulevard and Crystal Falls Parkway in the growing community of Leander, Texas, situated just north of Austin, the development is comprised of residential units serving 140 individuals with assisted-living and memory care requirements.
Legacy at Crystal Falls will be designed and constructed around an innovative ‘main street and neighborhood’ concept established by the developers. The apartment development will center around ‘main street’, or a centralized community amenity area, that will feature a restaurant, convenience store, movie theater, spa, fitness center and sports bar. Each wing within the facility will serve as a separate ‘neighborhood’, equipped with unique common areas and corresponding theme. The philosophy behind the design concept is to offer tenants the freedom to enjoy areas or interests most suitable to their preferences. In addition to the thoughtful layout, the interior spaces will encompass a stylish yet comfortable design aesthetic incorporating today’s modern fixtures and finishes. The exterior of the building will feature an elegant combination of stucco and synthetic stone, creating an attractive yet low-maintenance setting for the luxury senior living community.
Legacy at Crystal Falls will also be equipped with the latest technologies offering contemporary forms of care and convenience for tenants, including a customizable wireless caregiver alert system, wireless RFID entrances, identity lighting and camera monitoring systems covering all areas outside the private apartments. Cadence McShane will also provide the sitework for the assignment, including landscaping, walkways and convenient parking for visitors and staff.
