PHOENIX, AZ– Colliers International Greater Phoenix has named Michael E. Farrar, MBA, MIM, a vice president specializing in residential land acquisitions and dispositions for its Scottsdale office.
Farrar joins the Land Advisory Group, working with landowners, investors and developers to maximize the value of their land assets.In addition, he is serving clients in the sale and leasing of office and retail properties.
Farrar brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate development, entitlements, asset analysis and feasibility. He has experience brokering a variety of properties from single-family lots to multi-million dollar investment properties, as well as the leasing of small retail spaces and large office/warehouse buildings.

Before joining Colliers International, Farrar served as the President and Designated Broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) Metro Central for the Phoenix region. Farrar provided strategic counsel and a full range of services to help leading companies create value and manage risk in dealing with challenged real estate and mortgage assets.

In addition to serving as a Carefree councilmember, Farrar is a member of the Carefree Water Company’s board of directors and a member of the Arizona Rental Housing Association.
The native Arizonan holds a broker’s license with the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
Farrar earned double international MBA's from Thunderbird School of Global Management and the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland. He graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University’s W.A. Franke College of Business with a bachelor's degree in international economics.
