PRESS RELEASE: Colliers International Southwest Florida Hires Rob Warstler as Director, Retail Services

FORT MYERS, FLA. – Growing its already strong retail presence, Colliers International Southwest Florida hired seasoned retail broker Rob Warstler as Director, Retail Services, the company announced today. Warstler was previously the Director of Retail Services for Colliers International South Florida, located in Miami.

In his new role, Warstler will focus on tenant representation, landlord representation, and investment sale opportunities throughout Southwest Florida, with the primary focus in the Naples area. He joins forces with Karen Johnson-Crowther, Colliers International Southwest Florida’s Principal, Director, Retail Services, who has spent more then 20 years in the Southwest Florida commercial real estate industry.

Warstler has been a leader in the commercial real estate industry for more than 25 years. During his career, he has handled over 400 sale and lease transactions, totaling more than $250 million. His deep experience includes the development, acquisition and entitlement of more than 15 shopping centers and mixed-use developments.

In addition, Warstler has represented and completed transactions with a number of regional and national tenants, including Walmart, Sears, Dollar Tree, Shoe Carnival, Starbucks, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Taco Bell and Moe’s Southwest Grill.

Prior to serving as Director of Retail Services for Colliers International Miami, Warstler served as the CEO and Director of Retail for Colliers International Indiana Region. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Warstler holds real estate licenses in Florida and Indiana. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a past member of the Colliers International Retail Steering Committee.
