PRESS RELEASE: Cushman & Wakefield Promotes Jon Fales, Senior Managing Director, To Head Of Strategic Agecny Services (SAS)

NEW YORK CITY – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Jon Fales, Senior Managing Director has been promoted to head of the firm’s Strategic Agency Services (SAS).

Mr. Fales, who bring more than 17 years of agency leasing experience to the position, will proactively manage SAS’s delivery of services across the group’s portfolio in the New York region to best ensure that leasing objectives are achieved in a disciplined and consistent manner.

In addition to his management responsibilities, Mr. Fales will play an important role in expanding the capabilities of SAS in connection with the firm’s pursuit of new agency business opportunities. Widely seen as analytic and detail-oriented, Mr. Fales will focus on leveraging SAS’s knowledge base for greater alignment with the needs of its internal and external clients.

In his career, Mr. Fales has completed more than 4 million square feet of leasing transactions, and has represented multi-building portfolios on behalf of property owners throughout New York.

A graduate of James Madison University, Mr. Fales is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and sits on its Building Agents Rental Committee. An outdoor enthusiast and runner, he regularly competes in sanctioned ultra-marathon distance trail events and recently ran in the ING New York City Marathon.

Cushman & Wakefield, via its parent, Exor S.A. recently reported strong third quarter and 2013 year to date earnings. Cushman & Wakefield’s third quarter gross revenue increased 30 percent year-over-year, outpacing both Jones Lang LaSalle (+17 percent) and CBRE (+11 percent).  The company’s third quarter Adjusted EBITDA increased 74 percent year-over-year and all regions and service lines experienced double digit revenue growth. Year to date, Cushman and Wakefield has made over 1,500 hires globally.
