MIAMI - BerkowitzGroup today announced the signing of a lease renewal with global brand-name shoe retailer Famous Footwear for ± 8,000 square feet at Kendall Village Center, located at 8651 SW 124 Avenue in Miami, Fla.
This transaction maintains the occupancy level of 95 percent at the open-air shopping and office destination in Kendall. On behalf of the landlord, Berkowitz Development Group, Michael Berkowitz, President, and David Signer, Vice President, of Berkowitz Realty Group, completed the transaction.

Located in the heart of West Kendall at the intersection of North Kendall Drive (SW 88 Street) and The Florida Turnpike, the shopping center is surrounded by a highly populated residential base.
Marquis tenants include the Regal 16-plex Stadium Seating Theater, Old Navy, Gap, Nova Southeastern University, Pier 1 Imports and LA Fitness.
According to recent reports, demand for space continues on an uptick for the limited supply within Kendall’s retailmarket, which represents a steadying economy. Local, national and global retailers are experiencing persistent growth in areas such as South Florida that show stable signs of bustling commerce.
