DENVER–Today gyro, a top global integrated marketing agency, relocates from 1625 Broadway to a historic remodeled building in one of Denver’s hottest submarkets, Lower Downtown, or LoDo.
gyro has signed a 10-year lease for the entire third floor of 1500 Wynkoop St., which spans 10,741 square-feet. The agreement was arranged by Studley, global commercial real estate services firm.
Jim McGrath, branch manager of Studley’s DTC office, represented gyro in the leasing transaction. The landlord was represented by Darrin Revious of Shames Makovsky. Studley was retained to advise the company on its real estate needs to improve culture and provide sustainable amenities.
According to McGrath, gyro had very specific stipulations for the space that it would move to. “gyro is relocating to a very vibrant area of Denver called LoDo, a great fit for gyro’s efforts to be greener and more collaborative. The building is located near Denver's iconic Union Station for easy access to public transportation and the massive windows allow plenty of natural light, minimizing the need for electric lighting,” says McGrath. “The large, open space makes group gatherings inviting and promotes collaboration.”
gyro engaged Studley to search for a property amenable to gyro’s unified and innovative culture, known as UNO. “An essential part of gyro as a company is the concept of UNO, meaning even though we are 600 team members in offices around the globe, we think and operate as one cohesive unit,” states gyro Denver’s President, Daphne Fink Taber. “An open floor plan office that encourages this collaboration was the best fit for us, not only for our team, but for our clients as well.
