PRESS RELEASE: Hector Rodriguez of Savitt Partners Arranges Three New Lease Transactions at 134 West 26th Street

New York – Hector Rodriguez of Savitt Partners has negotiated three new lease transactions totaling approximately 6,900 square feet at 134 West 26th Street, the Chelsea Arts Building. Mr. Rodriguez represented the property owner, President Realty LLC. The average asking rent for office space at the 90,000-square-foot, 12-story, loft-style office property is $44-per-square-foot.

Neal Beckstedt Studio, an architectural and interior design firm inked a 2,600-square-foot lease at the property to house its growing practice. The company is expanding and relocating from its current location at 135 West 26th Street. Neal Beckstedt plans to create a unique office designed to its exact specifications. Alex Cohen of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the five-year transaction on behalf of the architecture and design company.

In addition to Neal Beckstedt, Madison Cox Architects committed to a 2,250-square-foot lease. The firm, specializing in garden architecture and design, will also relocate from its current offices to the new space they will build to meet their requirements. Daniel Kahn of the Kaufman Organization acted on behalf of Madison Cox in the lease negotiations.

Finally, Croscon, a company specializing in the development of enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure, leased 2,000 square feet of space in a transaction arranged by Dominique Alexander of City Realty. The firm plans to relocate its operations and headquarters from 601 Hudson Street to take advantage of the great technology infrastructure available at 134 West 26th Street, including high-speed FIOS fiber optics.
