PRESS RELEASE: Jones Lang LaSalle Selected by Owners to Lease 3 Columbus Circle in New York

NEW YORK CITY — Jones Lang LaSalle was selected by building owners SL Green Realty Corp. and The Moinian Group as the office leasing agent for 3 Columbus Circle, 1775 Broadway. The firm will provide a full range of marketing and transaction services for the Class A, 747,416-square-foot commercial office building.

The JLL team handling the leasing assignment will be led by Paul Glickman, Frank Doyle and Mitti Liebersohn, vice chairmen, and includes Alexander Chudnoff, executive managing director; Jonathan Fanuzzi, executive vice president; Diana Biasotti, senior vice president, and Benjamin Bass, associate. The team will work closely with Larry Swiger, senior vice president, and Elaine Anazagasty, vice president of leasing, at SL Green.

“Ownership has recently completed a comprehensive buildingwide redevelopment at 3 Columbus Circle, with the work including a new glass curtain wall, a new entrance and lobby, new elevators and updated mechanical systems,” said Glickman.

The 26-story 3 Columbus Circle offers efficient, flexible floor plates ranging from 21,324 square feet to 41,202 square feet, and boasts sweeping Central Park and city views. It also features close proximity to area amenities that include world-class restaurants and hotels, and immediate access to the subways at Columbus Circle, including the A, B, C, D and 1 trains. The building is also near the N, R, Q and E trains, and the M10, M20, M31, M57 and M104 buses.

The office building has approximately 125,000 square feet of available commercial office space, including 22,052 square feet on the second floor, 9,708 square feet on the 16th floor, the entire 34,290-square-foot 17th floor, the entire 21,342-square-foot 20th floor and 21st floor, and above-standard, pre-built suites ranging from 3,000 square feet to 6,000 square feet on the 22nd floor.

Originally known as the Colonnade Building, the three-story property was designed by architect William Welles Bosworth and constructed in 1923. The historic 3 Columbus Circle was designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, the architectural firm behind the Empire State Building, and constructed on top of the original building in 1927. In 2010, the office property underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation designed by architectural firm Gensler, achieving LEED-EB: OM Silver certification.
