MINNEAPOLIS, MINN – The Opus Group announced today the completion of a 45,600-square-foot retail building for Gander Mountain in Albany, Ga. The project’s completion marks the fourth collaboration between Opus and St. Paul-based Gander Mountain in the last 22 months. The Gander Mountain store opened its doors on Nov. 12.
The completed Albany store represents a new, smaller concept for Gander Mountain, helping to better serve customers in store communities with more targeted and specialized retail facilities.

In addition to the project in Albany, Opus constructed Gander Mountain stores in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Valdosta, Ga., and provided construction management services for the retailer’s new store in Opelika, Ala.
