SOUTHFIELD, MI—Andrew Gutman has been promoted to president at the locally based Farbman Group, and Michael Kalil has assumed responsibility for the company’s brokerage division.
Gutman was formerly the company’s CFO, while Kalil was the chief operating officer. Andrew Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group, made the announcement. Both men have been at the company more than 18 years. The company has offices in Detroit, Columbus, West Palm Beach, Fla. and Chicago, where the firm has completed a number of office acquisitions.
“During the past five years, while much of the real estate industry concentrated on methods of survival, Farbman Group has been laser focused on the future,” said Farbman in a statement. “We are now poised to further implement our strategic vision with a leadership team that will empower our growth trajectory for many years to come.”
