ADA Architects, Inc.
Acciarri is President of Cleveland-based ADA Architects, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in retail planning,, and project management. A 1980 graduate of the Ohio State University, he is licensed in 44 states. His firm's focus is on all phases of Retail Development; from site selection, entitlement, through project close-outs. The firm's projects range from tenant build-outs to large shopping centers and services clients that include national retailers, property owners, and developers.
Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates Inc.
Carter, a past SADI winner, is responsible for large retail centers, including the Plaza and Court at King of Prussia, Pa., Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, N.C., and Plaza Vespucio and Plaza Tobalaba in Santiago, Chile. A 25-year veteran of theindustry, he has been with Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates his entire career. In 1979, he graduated from Auburn University with degrees in architecture, environmental design and building construction.
As senior designer, Cooke is responsible for project design and for the leadership of the project team. Under the direction of the design partner, he implements and directs the design strategy of a project. He then coordinates and develops the design concepts with the planning, engineering and interiors studios, and with other disciplines and consultants. Cooke is responsible for the project's adherence to the design intent. He has worked in such projects as Chemsunny Plaza, a 1.8-millions-square foot project in Beijing and Shanghai Grand Real Estate Office Tower.
Robert A. Fiala
Fiala, managing partner of tda, has been an active member of the architectural community for more than 30 years. In 1989, he established ThenDesign Architecture, Ltd. (now tda) by acquiring a renowned educational design firm, Huston Associates. His extensive project experience includes retail/commercial, educational, civic,, religious, and recreational facilities in both the public and private sectors. Additionally, Fiala is a civic leader and has tirelessly devoted his time in support of local religious institutions, merchants and business owners. As a City of Willoughby Councilman, Bob's industry knowledge has been invaluable in the sustained and managed growth of the City, as well as the preservation of its' historic downtown.
David B. Janes,
Principal and Design Director

Janes, AIA, is corporate vice president, design and a principal at SGPA Architecture + Planning, with responsibilities including project planning as well as design overview of projects in both the San Francisco and San Diego offices. Janes has been with SGPA for 17 years and has over 24 years of professional experience that includes master planning and building design of projects in eight states, Japan, Thailand, Guam and New Caledonia. Janes leads a broad range of projects that encompass public as well as private projects, bringing new urbanism principles and innovative concepts to retail, entertainment, corporate office, hospitality and residential markets. Janes is a member of the AIA, Urban Land Institute and ICSC.
Gensler's unprecedented growth and success is a testament to the talents of principals like Charlie Kridler, AIA, who have defined, grown and perfected the firm's retail practice area. Most recently he worked with Gensler as a design program manager for the podium of the MGM City Center Casino and Resort tower in Las Vegas. His past experience with CBRE, IBI group and HOK Consulting includes strategic real estate portfolio planning, project & program management, architectural design for numerous retail/hospitality mixed-use and workplace transformation projects in Canada and throughout the United States. He is a member of Urban Land Institute and AIA.
KTGY Group Inc.
Lyon brings to KTGY Group Inc. an impressive list of project experience recognized throughout the country. He has led the design of various projects from retail and mixed-use to resort and entertainment centers.
