WARRENVILLE, IL—Compass Mortgage has restructured and expanded its lease to 15,816 sq. ft. at 27755 Deihl Road, in the Diehl Point at Canterra office complex here.

The company reportedly added almost 3,000 sq. ft. in the 44,730-sq.-ft. building. The facility is about 84 percent occupied.

CBRE’s Jon Springer and Gary Fazzio represented Compass in the transaction. The two said in a statement that the new long-term lease and expansion resulted from Compass’s need for more space while taking a proactive approach to expense control. The team was able to negotiate significant landlord concessions used for construction and allowed Compass to mitigate any capital expense while achieving significant occupancy cost, saving on both the short and long term, the two said.
