NEW YORK—Charter Communications, a U.S. cable operator, has signed a 75,000-sq.-ft. lease at The Landis Group’s 400 Atlantic Street property in Stamford, Conn. At the location, the cable company will occupy space on two floors of the 15-story, 500,000-sq.-ft. Class A office tower.

Located across from the Stamford train station, 400 Atlantic Street was originally designed and built to house Champion Paper’s world headquarters. Today, the property is home to a number of corporations, including UBS, American Express and Harman Kardon, among others.

The property has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star designation. Amenities at the building include a connected garage, fitness center and full-service cafeteria.

In addition, the property is located in close proximity to public transportation as well as Interstate 95.

The CBRE team of David Block and Steven Greenbush is the exclusive leasing agent for the building.
