• Anaheim, Calif. — NewMark Merrill Cos. LLC recently remodeled its 378,271-sq.-ft. community center Anaheim Town Square to host new tenants Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Voicestream and Togo's.

  • Wichita Falls, Texas — Coyote Management and Dallas-based Omniplan Architects are creating a new logo, color scheme, interior and exterior entrances, and soft-seating area for Sikes Center, a 667,000-sq.-ft. enclosed regional mall. The project will be complete by late spring.

  • Rochester Hills, Mich. — Robert B. Aikens & Associates signed Victoria's Secret, White House/Black Market, Heslops and Bath & Body Works to join its 375,000-sq.-ft. lifestyle center The Village of Rochester Hills.

  • Winston-Salem, N.C. — The Shoppes at Oliver Crossing, a 76,900-sq.-ft. neighborhood center, is Columbia, S.C.-based Edens & Avant's latest development. The center, which will open in spring 2003, will be anchored by a 43,000-sq.-ft. Lowes Foods.

  • Clovis, Calif. — Red Mountain Retail Group Inc. is spending $1 million to renovate Sierra Pavilions Center, a 306,400-sq.-ft. community center it recently purchased.

  • St. Louis, Mo. — The Desco Group's City Plaza will be home to a new, 10,000-sq.-ft. Sears Dealer Store. The retailer — which targets underserved urban markets — sells appliances, hardware, lawn equipment and automobile batteries. City Plaza is anchored by a 62,000-sq.-ft. Schnucks Supercenter.

  • Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. — Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Donahue Schriber is renovating its 300,000-sq.-ft. Peninsula Shopping Center to the tune of $2 million.

  • Louisville, Ky. — White House/Black Market and Gingiss Formalwear joined The Summit Louisville, a 367,500-sq.-ft. lifestyle center developed by Birmingham, Ala.-based Bayer Properties.

  • Cincinnati — The Streets of West Chester, a mixed-use development including 350,000 sq. ft. of retail space, will open its doors this August. Developed by Columbus, Ohio-based Continental Retail Development, the project will also include 400 apartment units and 300,000 sq. ft. of office space.

  • Southfield, Mich. — First Commercial Realty & Development is building a 12,000-sq.-ft. specialty center on the site of a former Kroger store. Restaurants and an art gallery have already signed leases at the center, which will be completed next spring.

  • Newport Beach, Calif. — Robinsons-May announced plans to join the tenant lineup at The Irvine Co.'s Irvine Spectrum Center. The two-level, 140,000-sq.-ft. store will open this fall.

  • Atlantic City, N.J. — Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Fossil, Mikasa, Bath & Body Works and Candies are among the retailers on board for The Walk — Atlantic City, a 310,000-sq.-ft. outlet and entertainment center under development by Baltimore-based The Cordish Co.

  • Jacksonville, Fla. — Stiles Corp. and Hallmark Partners are developing St. John's Commons, a 72,000-sq.-ft. community center. A 45,802-sq.-ft. Winn-Dixie will anchor the center, which will open in 1st quarter 2003.

  • St. Louis, Mo. — MLP Investments LLC is planning a $43 million, mixed-use project to occupy the site of a dark Target store. Called Station Plaza, the seven-acre development will include 191 multifamily units, 10 street-level retail spaces and a freestanding office building. Pending city approval, the project will begin construction this June.

  • Atlanta — Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids and L'Occitane are joining General Growth Properties' North Point Mall. In 2003, the developer plans to remerchandise and expand the mall to better target its upscale demographic base.

  • Chattanooga, Tenn. — Parkdale Crossing, an 87,000-sq.-ft. associated center, is under construction adjacent to Parkdale Mall. Both properties belong to CBL & Associates. Barnes & Noble and Office Depot will serve as anchors for the new center.

  • Los Angeles — CB Richard Ellis recently brokered leases for Target, Kohl's and Chick's Sporting Goods to join power center Colonies Crossroads, the retail component of a larger mixed-use development called The Colonies at San Antonio. Newport Beach, Calif.-based Pacific Development Group and Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based Colonies Crossroads Inc. serve as joint developers on the project, which is due for completion in October 2003.
