Cape Albeon, an $18.2 million luxury senior living complex next to two man-made lakes in St. Louis, has opened. The facility, featuring a 49 ft. lighthouse and designed to resemble a New England seaside village, contains apartments, cottage homes and assisted living units. St. Andrew's Management Services, based in St. Louis, is the developer and manager of the project; Paric Corp., also headquartered in St. Louis, was the general contractor. Good Samaritan, a St. Louis-based non-profit corporation, owns Cape Albeon.

The 231,829 sq. ft. community features 110 one- and two-bedroom apartments, all located in one three-story building; 35 ranch-style cottage homes; and 70 studio and one-bedroom assisted living units. The apartments have full kitchens, washer/dryer hook-ups and alarm systems. Utilities are provided. Amenities at Cape Albeon include an indoor swimming pool, a 114-seat restaurant-style dining room and a beauty shop.
