Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust completed the ground lease and the sale of two land parcels to the joint venture of Dewey Companies and Grosvenor Investment Management at its Echelon Mall property in Voorhees, N.J. PREIT is transforming Echelon Mall into Voorhees Town Center, a mixed-use center that will include a 65,000-square-foot supermarket, 130,000 square feet of retail and 425 luxury residential condominiums and apartment units. Thewill allow Dewey Commercial to develop 108 condominium units on the purchased land parcel and 317 apartment units on the ground lease parcel. Completion is scheduled for late spring/early summer 2008.
