—Citadel LLC has renewed its 222,416-square-foot lease in the top six floors at the 39-story Citadel Center office tower near the center of the downtown at the corner of Dearborn and Adams.
The 1.4-million-square-foot building opened in 2003 with Citadel as its anchor tenant. Dearborn Capital Group, the owner of the building, said theis long-term, but did not divulge the exact lease timeframe. The building also hosts tenants J.P. Morgan Chase and three major law firms, Seyfarth Shaw, Holland & Knight and Perkins Coie.
“We are very pleased that Citadel has reconfirmed its commitment to its namesake building,” said Oren Richland, a principal with Dearborn Capital, in a statement. He said given Citadel’s diversified financial services andbusinesses, the building’s technology infrastructure and raised floors were critical in the renewal decision.
