Stiles and Levine Properties will develop Shops at South Line, a grocery-anchored shopping center in Charlotte, N.C.
The center will include a 54,975-sq.-ft. Publix Super Market, 8,400 sq. ft. of shops and restaurants and two levels of sub-surface parking. Stiles and Levine plan to break ground for the project in the second quarter of 2013.
CBRE|Fredericksburg to, Manage Central Park Marketplace
Central Park Marketplace Holdings Inc. appointed CBRE|Fredericksburg as the retail leasing and management agent for Central Park Marketplace, a 215,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Fredericksburg, Va. Tenants at the center include Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Costco, Best Buy, Old Navy, Sports Authority and Wegman’s.
Robby Brownfield and Lee Cherwek will handle leasing. Judy Guild and Katie Jones will be responsible for property management.
Nordstrom to Open Second Store in Minnesota
Nordstrom signed awith General Growth Properties to open a 138,000-sq.-ft. store at Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, Minn. The store will be Nordstrom’s second location in the state. The retailer plans to open at Ridgedale Center in the fall of 2015.
Chick-fil-A Expands in Atlanta
Chick-fil-A signed a lease with Morgan Stanley for a renewal and expansion of its store at Airport West Distribution Center in Atlanta. The deal will expand Chick-fil-A’s existing store from 140,319 sq. ft. to 221,408 sq. ft.
Denton Shamburger, of Lincoln Property Company Southeast, represented the landlord in the transaction.
Gander Mountain startedon a 43,000-sq.-ft. store at 3325 McFarland Blvd East in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The store will open in late spring.
SRS Real Estate Partners hired Challotine Cius and Kelsey Madson as marketing coordinators. Their responsibilities will include broker transaction support, SRS identity building and lead generation initiatives. Prior to joining SRS, Cius worked as an administrative and business subcontractor. Madson was an events and marketing coordinator with Black Events & Marketing.
