A newly formed investor group led by Manhattan real estate investor Raymond Chalme has bought the 33-story Manhattan office building at 61 Broadway for $130.4 million. Themarks the first acquisition for Broad Street Development, which consists of Chalme and equity partner Heyman Properties.

"We’re excited to control the destiny of this asset and build on our success at alocated in the heart of this prominent business district."
The 653,000 sq. ft. office tower is 85% occupied. Its tenant roster includes law firms,firms and non-profit organizations.
