W&H (Wien & Helmsley) Properties is reportedly looking to sell TheToy Center, twin office towers located near west 23rd Street in Manhattan, for $400 million or more. A spokesman for W&H declined to comment on the property’s asking price.
For decades, the two buildings — 200 Fifth Avenue and 1107 Broadway — have housed the International Toy Center. The combined properties encompass 1 million sq. ft. of office space. The buildings are connected by a skybridge.
"This is a once-in-a-century offering, two large buildings with highly flexible floor plates, in a choice location within a 24/7 community whose household earning demographics are now the equal of Tribeca and the Upper East Side," says Anthony Malkin, president of Wien & Malkin Supervisory Services, which is leading the partnership that is selling the properties.
