IRVINE, CA – Orange County’s 2050 Main Street, managed by RiverRock Real Estate Group, took home top honors at the Buildings Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Building of the Year and Industry Awards. The 2013 Award for The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) in the 250,000 – 499,999 square foot category was bestowed upon 2050 Main Street on November 22 at the Annual Awards Ceremony held at the Newport Beach Marriott.
The award is the most prestigious competition throughout Orange County that recognizes outstanding commercial office buildings and excellence in building management. All facets of a building’s operations are considered including its tenant relations program, amenities package, community involvement, emergency evacuation procedures, building standards, sustainability, energy management accessibility, and overall exceptional service.

Built in 2007 and owned by AEW Capital Management since November 2011, 2050 Main Street is a 13-story, 314,074-square-foot, Class A office building. It is the newest addition to the 48-acre Irvine Concourse, which totals more than two million square feet of office space. The aluminium and glass curtain wall system with reflective glass and granite panels gives 2050 Main Street a sophisticated and classic look and feel. It is currently 82 percent occupied. The building also boasts an Energy Star rating and is LEED certified silver.
