MIAMI – As Florida emerges as a top international market forJones Lang LaSalle, the firm announced today the appointment of Doug Irmscher as Market Director for Florida, overseeing the firm’s business lines across all major markets in the state. As one of the leading full-service commercial real estate services firms in Florida, JLL has a leasing and management portfolio consisting of more than 28.6 million square feet that includes some of the state’s most iconic buildings, as well as a strong platform and leadership in project and development services and capital markets.

“Doug has a strong track record in working with clients to meet their real estate needs with more than 20 years of industry experience and a deep knowledge and understanding of the Florida marketplace,” said Jones Lang LaSalle’s Dave McGarry, Managing Director Markets East. “Throughout his career, he has excelled on both the transactional and development sides of the business and has played an instrumental role in growing commercial real estate portfolios in the state. He is a natural leader and will fit in well with JLL’s collaborative culture.”

In this role, Irmscher will be responsible for continuing to drive growth and expand the firm’s business lines across Florida, which include tenant and landlord representation, property management, project and development services and investment sales within the office, retail, industrial, hospitality and multifamily markets. The firm has approximately 650 employees providing real estate expertise in all the major Florida markets, including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville. During his 19 years at Duke, Irmscher held a series of development, leasing and marketing roles and developed more than three million square feet of office and industrial projects in Florida.

“The firm’s full-service platform, emphasis on cultivating talent and tremendous growth potential in the state of Florida are key reasons why I’m delighted to take on this new opportunity,” said Irmscher. “I will be working on behalf of clients to provide exceptional service and guidance in their real estate decisions and leverage the unparalleled regional, national and global platform of Jones Lang LaSalle.”
