Cincinnati – Dave Middendorf has joined FRCH Design Worldwide, one of the largest independent architecture and interior design firms serving the retail, restaurant and hospitality markets, as director of brand strategy.

Middendorf will provide consumer insight and brand strategy to current and new clients. He is based in FRCH’s Specialty Retail Studio, but will provide guidance firmwide. Prior to joining FRCH, Middendorf spent eight years as a senior consultant for strategy and analytics at Interbrand Design Forum. His expertise includes client relationship management, as well as qualitative and quantitative research with a focus toward consumer insight.

He has experience working with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS and has logged more than 500 hours of observational research pertaining to consumer-retail interaction. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is pursing a master’s degree in human factors and experimental psychology from the University of Dayton.
