ELIZABETH, N.J. – NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, today announced that Duro Standard Products Co., Inc., has signed a 70,000-square-foot lease for industrial space at 1000 Jefferson Avenue in Elizabeth, N.J. The tenant, which is a division of the world’s largest paper bag manufacturer, is relocating from another property in Elizabeth. 

NAI Hanson Vice President Barry J. Cohorsky and Associate Russell J. Verducci completed the transaction on behalf of the tenant. 

Owned by Templer Associates, the two-story Class C manufacturing building is located in the Union industrial cluster. Built in 1948, the building has a total of 190,000 rentable square feet on 9.7 acres. Features include 16- to 20-foot ceiling heights, new roof mounted solar system, two drive-ins and 38 exterior loading docks. The site has 100 free-surface parking space and on-site property manager.
