Biggins Lacy Shapiro & Co. LLC, based in Princeton, N.J., has launched SugarLoaf Associates, a new energyadvisory firm.
Timothy Comerford will spearhead the firm as senior vice president of strategic consulting. He will lead an interdisciplinary division focused on assisting companies, developers, municipalities and real estate advisers with issues related to energy procurement, renewable energy installation, utility relocation and infrastructure assessments, with a special focus on mission-critical facilities.

Comerford formerly was manager of the Public Service Electric and Gas Co. areadepartment, and president and founder of the PSEG Area Development LLC. Under his leadership, economic development activities helped bring thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in investment into the State of New Jersey. BLS partnered with Comerford and the utility over the past 15 years on dozens of projects.
