Sunset Edit Buys Hollywood Production Property

LOS ANGELES, CA—Sunset Edit has purchased the former headquarters of FilmCore Editing at 849 Seward Avenue in Hollywood for $2.2 million.

FilmCore has since relocated. The buyer is a private editing facility that provides post-production services to film, TV and most notably, music video. The building contains executive offices, editing bays, a screening room, shipping/receiving, patio and creative open space. Included in the sale, and located behind the building, is a separate parcel that is a parking lot for 20 cars

Michael Rubin with NAI Capital represented the seller of the building. “The Buyer was attracted to this unique opportunity to purchase a studio-building located in the heart of an increasingly desirable submarket within this well-known post-production district of Hollywood,” he says in a statement.
