Swire Properties Inc. appointed Americaribe Inc., a subsidiary of Frenchcompany Bouygues Batiment International, and John Moriarty & Associates as the construction management team for Brickell CityCentre in Miami. The construction contract is estimated to be worth approximately $500 million.
Americaribe and John Moriarty & Associates will be responsible for Phase I of the project, which will include seven acres of mixed-use. All of the components of Phase I, including retail, residential, hospitality and office space, will be completed simultaneously in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Brickell CityCentre is set to encompass 5.4 million sq. ft. of space spanning South Miami Avenue from Eighth Street to Sixth Street. It will include a luxury shopping center, two residential towers, a hotel, serviced apartments, class-A offices and a wellness center. The project is already under construction.
