Jones Lang LaSalle has won the combined leasing and management assignment for the 989,000 million sq. ft. Lincoln Mall in Matteson, Ill. Dallas-based Realty America Group recently purchased the mall.

Anchor tenants at Lincoln Mall are Carson Pirie Scott and Sears, and in-line retailers include Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Bachrach, Victoria’s Secret and Border Books & Music. "Lincoln Mall is a regional shopping mall with outstanding potential. The mall is situated in a superb, growing southland community with a strong, independent retail hub and a very powerful shopper, that is getting better and stronger as we speak," says Rives Castleman, principal of the Realty America Group overseeing the mall’s operations.

"Southland" refers to an area located off of I-57 due south of Chicago.

According to Castleman, Realty America will "return Lincoln Mall to its former prominence" via Jones Lang LaSalle’s market knowledge. To carry this out, Castleman and Realty America will collaborate with local leaders and officials of Matteson, along with officials from neighboring towns.
